Palak Story

There are numerous activities that Palak has done. Palak has done numerous trekking trips including a very difficult 7 km trek in Italy from Monterosso to Vernazza in 2017. She did paragliding and undersea walking in Thailand in 2007. She did zip ride in Singapore and New Zealand and zorbing in Manali.

She even did helicopter rides in Manali and New Zealand. She did 40 km tandem cycling with her father in Italy in 2017.

Palak ran three marathons of 5 kms. She has done various water sport activities over all these years including jets skiing, snorkeling, banana water ride and pedal boating. She gave a talk in DSFI, India in 2017 and she was highly appreciated. Palak ran 5.8 kms in Valsad Marathon race organised by Valsad Racer Club.

Palak took part several times not only in her school annual functions but also in the Navsari Medical Association annual functions in fancy dress, dance, small plays and dramas.

Palak has learnt Gōjū-ryū martial arts and has acquired a yellow belt in it. She is very fond of music and she regularly sing songs on karaoke at home with her father. During festivals, Palak is in all together a different mood. She loves festivals and celebrates all of them with utmost enthusiasm and zeal. She loves meeting people, interacting with them, and knowing them. Palak utilized the COVID19 lockdown period and did several productive activities then as well, out of which she is doing some activities now on a weekly basis. She did some wonderful artwork with Shaloo Sharmaji along with some paintings and craftwork. She also learnt cookery & baking and made some delicious recipes. She learnt all the dining etiquettes including setting the dining table & dining discipline. Palak solved word puzzles, played crosswords & jumbled words, patterns, sentence making & learnt new words. She started reciting Shri Bhagwat Geeta as she is very good at speaking Sanskrit verses. She even sings bhajans very rhythmically and with full devotion.

She also attended gratitude seminar on zoom. She learnt storytelling and had a an FB live story telling session and is now a faculty in Nia Creations, Surat. She was one of the participants in English story telling sessions in Neha Bordia’s zoom meets from Sep 2020. She played many online games during the quarantine with friends and family members. Palak is now learning photography since October 2020. Palak is also attending Swa-Saksham course designed by her mother Dr Nina Vaidya since Oct 2020. She is at present attending 12 sessions online in a week.

Palak is also a certified Yoga instructor
